THE STORY

I opened Jennifer Galleries, Ltd. in the summer of 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Art, a few years of business experience at IBM and a dream.  Now, more than 30 years later,  I contunue to love selling, working and creating in this business every day

I have taken a traditional retail art gallery and custom frame shop to the next level and am loving all the new and exciting tangential arms I have created  that take me in new and different directions daily.  While still offering all the traditional services one would expect from this business, selling art and making picture frames, I have added many new lines and services.  I am still enjoying working with my residential clients but have added focus to working with artists, with interior designers all over the area, with commercial cllients and prep schools.

I received the designation of certified picture framer, CPF, in 1992 from the Professional Picture Framers Association.  I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Avon, CT, served on the board of directors for the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon and volunteer in pet therapy programs with my dog Beau

I continue to work with passion and skill and create pieces that will be loved and treasured for a lifetime.
